Found Object: ECS Autumn Quotes

Location: ECS 119B, ECS Building.
Object: White board on the door to the custodial storage area in ECS.
Observations: For the past few weeks, when walking through our department mailroom in ECS 119, I’ve noticed an autumn-themed quote on the door to our custodial storage area. Every day or so, a new quote appears.

Observations: The quotes are courtesy of our current custodian for ECS, Kim Caffrey. Kim joined us in ECS during June, just in time to help with preparations for the campus re-opening. At first, Kim was assisting Debbie Erickson, who was spending the summer months in ECS while Leasure Hall received some much needed plumbing renovations. By the end of the summer, Kim was assigned permanently to ECS, while Debbie returned next door to Leasure Hall. Together, Kim and Debbie make sure that everything is just right.

Observations: Kim’s autumn-themed quotations are a great example of the personal touch that informs her approach each day and her commitment to meeting our department’s needs.

Observations: We so appreciate the attention to detail and the good spirits that both Kim and Debbie bring to their work for Facilities and K-State — attention to detail and good spirits that only a few of us get to experience right now, when so many are working remotely. Until everyone returns to campus, here are a few quotes for all to enjoy!
