One of our English Department traditions is to share a graduation card with each graduating senior, signed by all of the faculty in the department.
Since we couldn’t offer that tribute this spring, as the coronavirus pandemic continues, we identified a faculty member to create a short video for each graduating senior to convey our collective congratulations on their success.
The videos went live on our department’s social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) during finals week. Today, to celebrate the outdoor undergraduate commencement ceremony, we share them here as a group:
On behalf of the faculty and staff of the English Department, congratulations once again to our Spring 2021 graduating English majors — now, our new alumni!
